I am an executive coach who trains and coaches corporate and individual clients to help them take control of their careers. I draw on over 20 years of Financial Services experience spent in a variety of leadership roles with global financial institutions. My financial services background began with JP Morgan in London and New York and I subsequently held a variety of leadership roles during my time with Citigroup, Barclays, Merrill Lynch and Société Générale in Europe and Asia. This diverse experience has allowed me to appreciate the complex and political environment in which my coaching clients often work. It was during my banking career that I developed a passion for coaching individuals and teams through leadership development programmes, finding this the best way to create an environment of collaboration, teamwork and common ground where people are empowered, accountable and engaged. In 2002, I became a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Business Practitioner and have been applying these learnings to help individuals and teams to get more of the results they want. In 2012, I decided to change career emphasis and become formally certified as a coach. I am the founder and CEO of "Career Catalyst Group Ltd" where I focuses on Executive Coaching, training and consulting. My main clients are global banks and law firms who appreciate my deep knowledge of their environment and understanding of the challenges they face. My particular expertise is around diversity and helping women return to the workplace. My time in banking showed me the importance of strong advocacy for the advancement of women. I contributed to the critically acclaimed book, Your Loss: How to Win Back your Female Talent to address and prevent the female “brain drain” that is all too prevalent in most major industries today. I also develop and run interactive workshops focused on gender bias, challenging senior leaders to overcome their potentially unconscious biases and promote more senior women leaders. At an individual level, I encourage women to become their own role models and build their confidence with strategies that can make valuable improvements to their working environments. I took over as Managing Director at “Back to Work HK” in 2017, to expand my passion for working with organisations to help them retain female talent and also develop returner programmes to tap into this talent pool. I encourage my clients to embrace their passions outside of work, and I do this by leading by example! I am a keen hiker and am currently training for the 100k “Just Challenge” South Africa. As a singer, I have performed in concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Centre and in Hong Kong. I have two young children and am a proud Scot in Hong Kong, organising and hosting the annual Burns Supper as Chieftain of the HK Cricket Club. How I can help you:
